Steak on a Stick

Ingredients

  • 1-2 pounds of either flat iron, flank or London broil
  • Wooden skewers
  • 1/2 cup Coca-Cola
  • 1/2 cup Italian salad dressing
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce, (low-sodium works best)
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce

Directions

  • Step 1:

    Combine all marinade ingredients in non-reactive container or large food storage bag.

  • Step 2:

    Thinly slice meat into strips approximately two-inches long. Place meat in marinade and let sit in refrigerator for at least eight hours, or overnight.

  • Step 3:

    Soak wooden skewers to prevent burning. Thread beef onto skewers and grill to desired doneness.
