Ingredients
- 12 oz. package Apple Chicken Sausage or other link sausage, sliced
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 Vidalia onion, cut into strips
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 zucchini cut in half circles
- 1 yellow squash, sliced thin
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced into strips
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced into strips
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions

Step 1:
Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat.

Step 2:
Add sausage, onion and garlic, and saute’ 10 minutes.

Step 3:
Add remaining ingredients and sauté about 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Serve with rice if desired.
