Ingredients
- 1 prime rib roast (allow 1/2 ib. of meat per person)
- Salt and pepper
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2-3 tablespoons hot horseradish (more or less to taste)
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
Directions

Step 1:
Take roast out of refrigerator 1 hour before cooking. Preheat oven to 500º.

Step 2:
Place roast in a roasting pan rib side down, and generously salt and pepper roast. Place in preheated oven and turn temperature to 350º.

Step 3:
Bake roast for 20 minutes per pound or until internal temperature is 130º for rare. Cook longer for more done roast. Serve with horseradish sauce.

For Horseradish Sauce: Combine all ingredients and adjust flavors as needed. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
