Ingredients
- 2 cups broken dark or milk chocolate, from a bar of baking chocolate**
- 2 cups broken white chocolate, from a bar of baking chocolate **
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candy
Directions

Step 1:
Do not use chocolate with palm oil as an ingredient, this will cause the 2 layers of chocolate to separate. Use only chocolate containing cocoa butter. Do not use chocolate morsels.

Step 2:
Melt dark chocolate in a micro proof bowl at 30 second intervals, stirring after each interval, until melted (total of about 2 minutes depending on your microwave.)

Step 3:
Spread on a wax paper lined baking sheet, spread it about 1/4 inch. Place in refrigerator for 30 minutes until hardened.

Step 4:
Repeat same procedure for melting with white chocolate, stir in peppermint extract.

Step 5:
Gently spread on hardened dark chocolate layer. Gently sprinkle crushed peppermint on top, press gently onto white layer.

Step 6:
Refrigerate again until white layer is hardened.

Step 7:
Break or cut into pieces, refrigerate.
