Ingredients
- 12 – 14 cups French bread (approximately 1 loaf)
- 8 large eggs
- 2 cups 2% milk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup sliced strawberries
- ½ cup blueberries
- Powdered sugar, as much as you want
- Maple syrup, as much as you want
Directions

Step 1:
1. Stale bread by leaving it out overnight or by cutting it into cubes and placing on a baking sheet and baking it in a 2750F oven for 10 minutes.

Step 2:
Grease a 9 x 13 inch casserole dish with vegetable oil or butter.

Add the cubed French bread to the greased dish, filling up to ¾ full.

Step 4:
In a large bowl, combine eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Whisk until well blended. Pour mixture evenly over cubed bread.

Step 5:
Top casserole with sliced strawberries and blueberries.

Step 6:
Cover the casserole with plastic wrap and refrigerate for four hours or up to overnight.

Step 7:
When ready, preheat oven to 350oF.

Step 8:
Bake 35 – 50 minutes, until it is evenly browned.

Serve topped with powdered sugar and maple syrup.
