Ingredients
- 4 – 5 slices thick cut bacon
- 2 large russet potatoes, sliced ½ inch thick
- 4 Tbsp butter, melted
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup sliced green onion
Directions

Step 1:
Cook bacon by your preferred method (stove top, oven, microwave). When cooled, crumble into pieces and set aside.

Preheat the oven to 400 F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Toss the potato slices in the melted butter until evenly coated.

Step 4:
Arrange the potato slices in a single layer on the baking sheet. Bake potato slices for 15 minutes, then flip them over and bake another 15 minutes until golden brown and tender.

Step 5:
Remove potatoes from oven and top each slice with some crumbled bacon and shredded cheese. Return them to the oven and cook for an additional 5 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbling.

Remove from oven and top with a dollop of sour cream and some green onion.
