Blue Cheese Crusted Vidalia Onions

Ingredients

  • 2 large Vidalia Onions (about a pound), halved
  • 5-6 ounces crumbled blue cheese
  • 6 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon dill weed
  • Pepper to taste

Directions

  • Step 1:

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

  • Step 2:

    Generously butter a 9x13 inch baking pan.

  • Step 3:

    Slice halved onions and place in baking pan.

  • Step 4:

    Combine remaining ingredients and gently spread over onions.

  • Step 5:

    Bake for 20 minutes until bubbly.

  • Step 6:

    For a browner top, broil briefly.

  • Step 7:

    Serve with your favorite cut of meat.
